Balkan fusion & experimental Gypsy merge under a backdrop of 1890s European architectural glory - in the heart of Wicker Park! Join HotHouse & NNWAC for an unforgettable evening of old world influences, modern interpretations and new beginnings! New Year's Balkan Gypsy Jam will host Chicago's freshest young European & Balkan influenced musicians - under one roof!   St. Paul 's Cultural Center will transform into a multi-level 1930's European art house.. Performance will be held in the upstairs sanctuary - a space filled with old world craftsmanship, stunning stained glass and large open space with beautiful acoustics. EASTERN BLOK will begin the evening with their rich & dynamic globally influenced Balkan fusion. The Chicago Gypsy Experiment will then take the stage to ring in 2010!  The evening will be the debut performance of The Chicago Gypsy Experiment - a musical collaboration between the seductive Balkan roots rock/Ork-pop of ODE and the uptempo Gypsy dance grooves of EYES MANOUCHE.
